About Pixikey
Pixikey operates pixikey.org and provides personalized pet-care products and online pet-care pages from Tampa, Florida, United States. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@pixikey.org.
Information we collect and why
When you create an account, contact us, or place an order, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, order details, and pet-name personalization. We use it to manage your account, prepare and deliver orders, provide support, and send service and order messages.
Your pet-care page stores the pet name, optional owner name and phone number, and the feeding, walking and care notes you enter. Authorized site administrators can access this information to operate and support the service.
What anyone scanning your NFC pieces can see
The collar tag and home station open a shared, read-only web page. Anyone who scans either piece or obtains its link can see the pet name and all contact details and care notes you choose to publish. The link can be forwarded, photographed or copied. This page is not a private message or a password-protected record.
Owner contact details are optional. Only add information you want readers to see. Do not include home access codes, financial information or sensitive personal details. Editing requires the authorized owner account. You can change or remove the displayed fields from your care dashboard. Replacing the shared link invalidates the old link and requires updating both NFC pieces. Previously saved screenshots or printed copies cannot be recalled.
The NFC pieces contain a web link. They do not provide GPS tracking. Opening the online page requires internet access.
Payments, delivery and service providers
Stripe processes card payments when checkout is available. Payment and transaction information needed to process the payment and prevent fraud is shared with Stripe. Pixikey receives payment status and transaction references; full card details are handled by Stripe. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
Delivery and package information is used with USPS shipping services, including rate calculations through our shipping integration. Hosting and email are provided through Hostinger. WordPress and WooCommerce support our website and store. These providers process relevant information to provide their services.
Cookies, statistics and security
The website uses cookies for sign-in, account sessions and shopping-cart functions. Technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, visited pages and request times may be processed in hosting, security and analytics systems. We use Jetpack for site statistics and security. See Automattic’s Privacy Policy for its data practices.
You can manage cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or checkout from working. External links and embedded content, where present, are governed by the relevant provider’s privacy practices.
Comments and uploads
If you submit a public comment or review, the submitted content may be displayed publicly. The form information, IP address and browser details may be used for moderation and spam prevention. Avoid submitting private information or uploading images containing location metadata.
Retention and your choices
Account and care-page information is stored to provide your continuing access to the service. Order, support and security records may be retained for administration, accounting, dispute handling and applicable legal obligations. Deleting a public care field does not necessarily erase related historical order records or backups immediately.
You can edit account and care-page information after signing in. To request access, a copy, correction, deletion or closure of your account or care page, email support@pixikey.org. We may need to verify account ownership before acting. Certain records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons. Additional rights may apply depending on where you live.
International processing and updates
Pixikey is based in the United States. Our service providers may process information in other countries. We may update this policy as the service changes; the current version and its update date will be posted here.
